What can I do with fossilized snowflakes?

In the winter time I found a way to preserve snowflakes(or atleast their exact shape) in super glue on microscope cover slips. I originally wanted to do this so I could give them to my cousin who lives down south , who told me she never seen real snow. These things are so fragile, that I don't think they would make it through the mail though. Is there a way I could put some in a necklace or something or is this just kind of a useless and stupid idea.
