I like this guy and we r like cute together shud i ask him out ppk think him and me r goin out but we r friend

Ok so I like this guy at school. he is really nice and he is like a bestfriend to me. he is in my gym and we sit together at luch caz my best friend is goin out with his friend. so its a perfect excuse to ask him to sit w/ me. so him and me r cute together everyone says so. like everyone at school thoguht we were goin out caz i was walin with him and talkin to him and stuff alot. anyways his name is dennis. i get the feeling he likes me too but my friend (not my best friend) asked him out before caz she liked him. he said no to her i donno y. but she asked him out caz he was acting the same way to her as he is to me so i dont no if he likes me or just as friends. so wat should i do? Should i take a risk and ask him out anyway or just wait awhile till im sure he likes me. he buys me crackers and icecream and stuff at lunch and is so nice. please help!
