I'm a Christian and you are exactly right. If you believe in a righteous God then there is only one way to be joined to him, that being righteously. A righteous God can not be joined to sin. All men have sined and this is the reason that God in his love and mercy has provided us the way to him through the righteouness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
