When you use the Proactiv Refining Mask, is it supposed to get hard after the ten minutes?

When I put the Refining Mask on my face and leave it for ten minutes and then go to wash it off, it's all...like solidified and I have to scrub like a mad woman to get it all off. Is that normal?
